A VOICE WITHOUT LIMITS
Meet your studio.
Working today. Ready for AVEN tomorrow. No pretend intelligence.
Three ways to bring it to life
Choose the experience that fits your current setup.
WORKS NOW
Browser speech
Optional, working text-to-speech using browser voices. Clearly labeled demo; not the AVEN engine.
WORKS NOW
Audio & visual testing
Open a real audio file, control its playback, or separately test the orb without playing speech.
INTEGRATION REQUIRED
Your AVEN engine
Register an adapter to generate actual audio with your own service. No provider is bundled.
An open connection
The same-window window.auravox bridge is available after the app mounts. Receive audio directly, or register a reusable engine.
// Supply audio you already received from AVEN.
// yourAudioBlob is a real Blob from your application.
window.auravox.provideAudio({
blob: yourAudioBlob,
filename: 'aven-response.mp3'
});
// Nothing autoplays. The user presses Play in AURAVOX.These are integration examples, not automatically executed code. Supply your real audio Blob or your own authenticated AVEN client. An audio URL can also be supplied; downloads require a Blob.
The integration contract
- Generate only on Play. Your adapter receives text, options, and an AbortSignal.
- Return playable audio. A non-empty Blob is best; an HTTP, HTTPS, or Blob URL also works.
- Stop means stop. Cancellation aborts the request, ignores late results, stops playback, and releases resources on cleanup.
- Keep secrets server-side. The browser should never contain a private provider key.
- Rate policy. Playback applies the selected speed. Avoid applying the same speed twice in your engine.
What works, and what to expect
Honest boundaries are part of a good studio.
Working features
- Browser voice selection, live speech, rate and volume.
- Play, pause, resume, stop, and event-driven orb states.
- Real audio import, seeking, playback, and Blob downloads.
- Independent visual testing without fake speech.
- Responsive navigation, device-local settings, accessible controls, and reduced motion.
- Receiving external audio and registering a cancellable engine.
Browser limitations
- Browser speech is not a downloadable file. AVEN generation needs your connected engine.
- Voice lists and speech events vary. Some mobile browsers may not reliably pause or resume speech; use Stop if needed.
- Some voices use an online device service. “On device” labels identify local voices when available.
- Embedded browsers may block playback or clipboard access. Try a full browser tab.
- Audio and engine connections last for this session only. Download audio to keep it.
- The orb follows playback state, not measured amplitude. Reduced-motion preferences keep it still.
A thought is all you need to begin.
Try a browser voice, open a file, or bring your own AVEN engine.
